    Success Skills 2000

    Overview

    Success Skills 2000: Benchmarks for High Performance is a video-based, computer-scored simulation that measures the key skills needed for success as an entry-level professional. Success Skills shows a variety of on-the-job situations similar to those faced by professionals on a typical day. As applicants observe the different situations, they answer questions regarding how they would deal with each situation if they were actually on the job. Through this process, applicants have the opportunity to demonstrate job-related skills and abilities. This skills-based approach is the most accurate and reliable predictor of future job performance. In addition, the process helps applicants build realistic expectations about the job.

    Administration

    Success Skills alleviates many of the administrative duties normally associated with testing. The simulation simplifies the administrative process by leading applicants through each step of the testing process, including a job preview, instructions, practice opportunity, and assessment period. The simulation takes about an hour to complete. Following the simulation, responses are computer scored onsite, giving you immediate access to assessment results. These results provide a prediction of each applicant's potential for success as well as valuable feedback on skill strengths and developmental needs. Employment Technologies' exclusive Career Prescription® (CareeRx®) feature also lets you generate an objective, personalized performance plan for each participant based upon his or her specific assessment results.
