SkilTrak Bilingual is a PC-based, multi-media simulation to assess the skills required to effectively communicate in English and Spanish via computer, Internet, or other electronic means. As part of the simulation, participants listen to English- and Spanish- speaking customers and complete electronic data entry forms, correspond with customers by e-mail in both English and Spanish, and quickly and accurately type written correspondence in English and Spanish. SkilTrak Bilingual can be used with applicants to identify top performers who are truly proficient in both English and Spanish, and can be used with existing employees to target their skill strengths and development needs.

SkilTrak Bilingual includes three separate skills assessments: Data Entry, E-mail Composition, and Typing / Keyboarding. Each assessment gives participants the opportunity to interact with simulated customers in English and Spanish. Skills assessments can be administered separately or in any combination.

Data Entry	Participants listen to a series of customer calls and process their requests. Participants are required to accurately enter information (e.g., account numbers, addresses, credit card information) into appropriate data fields using the keyboard and mouse. Data entry speed and accuracy are measured.
E-Mail Composition	Participants receive e-mail messages from customers with various questions or issues Participants are required to look up customer and product information (using information screens) and respond in writing via e-mail Spelling, grammar, vocabulary, tone, and response content are assessed
Typing	Participants view written e-mail messages Participants are required to retype the e-mail messages as quickly and accurately as possible Typing speed and accuracy are measured

SkilTrak Bilingual's automated testing and scoring software makes it easy to administer and score the simulation. SkilTrak Bilingual provides participants with all of the information they need to complete the simulation, including instructions, practice opportunities, and skills assessments. The full assessment can be completed in about 30 minutes. The data entry and typing sections are automatically computer scored. The e-mail composition section is scored using an onscreen checklist to quickly and objectively evaluate written responses. SkilTrak Bilingual provides immediate access to comprehensive, easy-to-interpret results. These results provide a prediction of each participant's potential for success and report participants' English and Spanish proficiency for each assessment exercise.
