Collections Fit Index® (CFI)
The Collections Fit Index® (CFI) test measures applicants' job fit by identifying their tolerance for job-relevant activities or environmental characteristics required for success that are present as part of the job. Below are a few examples of the nine (9) Work Tolerance areas measured by the CFI test that help to determine an applicant's Turnover Risk Rating.
- Problem Solving: Can the applicant manage a lot
of information at once without becoming frustrated?
- Emotionally Stressful Situations: Will the applicant
be bothered by having to counter and rebut others'
arguments? Can the applicant be polite to rude or
difficult people?
- Exchanging Information with Customers: Will the
applicant be motivated to speak with others regarding
products or services?
- Attention to Detail: Will the applicant be bothered
having to remain attentive to details over extended
periods of time?
Combined with the
Work Tolerance information
collected in Section A of the CFI test
is information regarding applicants'
Interpersonal
Style. The characteristics listed below also help
to determine an applicant's fit for the job of a Collections
Representative.
- Conscientiousness: Is the applicant careful and
organized?
- Emotionality: Is the applicant resilient and stress
tolerant?
- Extraversion: Is the applicant outgoing and assertive?
- Ambition: Is the applicant hardworking and persistent?
- Agreeableness: Is the applicant trusting and caring?
